Here we
have some Nintendo trading cards by Merlin
released in the United Kingdom (and the rest of Europe?)
some time in 1993. I remember buying these as a kid
along with the sticker album and a bunch of stickers.
Unfortunately at the time I must have preferred the
stickers as I only have about sixty trading cards. :)
Each card has a charater on the front and a screen shot
from the game on the back. Under the screen shot is
some writing which gives tips to finding hiden rooms
etc for each game.
From what I can gather the set consists of at least
150 cards, I have only scanned pictures of the NES cards
but the Game Boy and SNES is also featured in the set.
